Breville Dual Boiler BES920 Deal

I picked up a Breville Dual Boiler (BES920, the updated model) + Breville Smart Grinder for $1214 at Myer. It seems that Myer is largely willing to treat the new model and old model the same which means you can easily sweet talk them into throwing in a Smart Grinder and on Sunday they had a 20% off deal going which meant I paid $1499 (RRP for BES 920) *0.8 + $0 (grinder). There was much confusion about the new/old models so your mileage may vary. So if you're lucky you'll be able to replicate my deal or at least pickup both for $1299 based on this deal (http://www.myer.com.au/shop/mystore/breville-dual-boiler-cof…) but with the new model.

At least one other person on Coffeesnobs has reported success at getting Myer to do the BES920+grinder for $1214. It may be worth grabbing one + smart grinder and just trying to pay for it at the counter and see what happens. Haven't posted this as a deal because I'm not sure how repeatable it will be for others but if people think I should then I'm happy to.

P.S. FWIW david jones has a similar deal going (http://shop.davidjones.com.au/djs/en/davidjones/electrical/e…) but didn't have stock of the new BES920. The lady tried to sweet talk me with a credit card deal which she claimed was worth ~$300 off the price if you signed up for the DJ Amex.

    P.S. upon double checking the other member of coffeesnobs actually got them both for $1274 so you can see there's some variability to this deal.

    I just picked up a bes920 + smart grinder for 1299. They have the BES920 for $1199.20 by itself, but also the older bes900 + smart grinder for $1299, so I asked if I could have that deal as well, just for the bes920.

    There's a free two hour barista course included by redemption at breville's website as well, until x-mas.

    I just picked my BES920 from Myer Castle Hill for $1100. They didn't have grinder in stock and I took it from David Jones for $219. 1320 in total :-)

    I got the BES920 + Smart Grinder for $1291 at Myer today. If their website was working you would see that the BES920 is on sale at $1214 (down from $1499 RRP) and the Smart Grinder $199 (down from $299 RRP), I was able to bargain it down a bit further so overall down $507 from RRP. I'd been hanging out for a good deal on the BES900 but then heard the new model was coming which promises to fix some of the issues with the 900, and a big plus for me is that you can now descale it yourself (900 needs to go in for a service to get it done).

    Very happy :)

    Got the BES920 + Smart Grinder from HN today for $1198 (I said Myer would do it at $1199 so they beat it). Also included 5 year replacement warranty for an additional $186. The guy at Myer wouldn't include the grinder! Even after hassling him for a bit and showing him the website. Walked into HN, talked to the guy, he was like, yep, comes with the grinder, said I wanted the BES920 when he initially pulled up the price for the BES900; he said sure, we have that. 5mins later, driving out with two huge boxes :)

    @Bele Hardly normals sells Replacement Product care i believe which is a bit superior then standard warranty . Myer 5 year repair Warranty (After 3 repairs on same fault replace ) .
