  • i wonder if xbox's xmbc will be able to see the USB harddrive plugged into one of these device.

    • i think you need to run software to see it - doesn't appear to provide samba sharing capabilities

      • That's what I was thinking - there're a lot of pseudo network sharing devices that require you to install software on every PC that may want to use it. That said, for home use that's acceptable. If it can handle scanners, even better.

    • I seriously doubt it. Definitely do your homework before buying.

  • I wonder what will happen if I plug an USB hub with multiple USB devices on it.

    • Unfortunately it does not work on multiple devices. Only the first USB device is picked up and can be used.
