Do some push ups and you can change your Ozbargain name from TightBottom to TightAbs.
Apps don't make you exercise.
I'd normally agree, but I have to do push-ups for a work fitness test and thought I'd give this a go. I stuck with it until the back end of level 2 where I noticed I was developing what I'd call "noticeable man-boob muscle". At that stage I was doing more than 100 push-ups per session. I only need to do 30 push-ups for the test and I used to do 35-40 and stop, now I'm pumping out an easy 50 and calling it quits.
Bonus points for when you tap the screen with your nose during a push-up. My kids start making kissing noises and say "stop kissing the tablet Dad" which always gets a laugh.
My issue is that runtastic could have just had one mega fitness app. I don't want to screw around with 1 app each for squats, pullups, situps, pushups :S
Yarp. They could actually make a decent overall bodyweight workout app with appropriate balance & progression. But that would mean they'd have to think about it for a second instead of just copying existing programs for individual exercises.
I aggree with you but in a bussiness sense more apps equal more money
Perhaps an app like this would meet your 'mega fitness app' requirements?

Looks like that P90X style stuff. Doesn't look like balance or progression are built into it.
They give you a good excuse to. I know I didnt stick to running until someone gave me a specific program to follow in C25K.
If anyone's wondering how to unlock pro (like I was), you need to go into level 1, open up settings then press 'enter promotion code'
Thanks mate, also restart the app to get rid of the upgrade to pro icon still appearing at top
"Please log into your Runtastic account first to enter your promotion code" sigh. Soon we'll need to create an account to use the toilet ;-)
I installed this app when it was free on ios. I opened it once with intentions of using it. Never touched it again but I feel guilty every time I see this icon. Must exercise more.
