I am looking for an unlimited calls plan with atleast 1 gig of data. It is to be used on the NW Coast in Tas so I really need a plan that uses a full network. For example the old Aldi one that used part of the Telstra network was no good. At the moment we are thinking Amaysim for $39. Any better suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks. That would probably be better coverage for her area than Optus.
Yeah same with me, changed from Amaysim to Boost and 3G speeds and network quality is much better (since Boost uses the full Telstra 3G network I believe, instead of part of Telstra network).
So it's worth sacrificing the data allocation? (Boost being 1GB less) and the ability to pre purchase additoinal data? (IE: the 10GB bolt on packs) when switching to Boost? Not to mention the fact that Amaysim includes unlimited access to social networking sites?
I'm tempted aside from these points, but as all of my internet access is done via tethering I'm a little hesitant given the data allocations…
What is the customer service like with Boost….oh and by the way I just did an online chat with a real smart arse at Amaysim..way to get new business!
It was actually really good when I called Boost up to activate my SIM card initially when I first switched the service, their customer service phone number is the same as Telstra Retail I'm pretty sure and the call went directly to Telstra itself, but I don't know if Telstra owns Boost or another company! And activation was straight forward on the phone and they did it in about 5 minutes!
I had a good experience using Boost chat a couple of times when doing the porting..they know their stuff and are efficient..
oh and btw I am a convert from Amaysim as well..Amaysim really need to get their prices down if they have to stay competitive. They are offering an inferior product than Boost at the same price..
