Free Ice Cream (for Vodafone Users) in Springvale

70

Hi all, this is my first post here, so I am not entirely sure of what is missing. I would appreciate if people can point it out for me.

Just got an email from Vodafone stating that they have recently upgraded their sites in Springvale, and to celebrate that, they will be bringing free ice cream to (presumably) Vodafone users who live around the area.

As there is no other information except for the link that came with the email, I don't know what time the give-away will happen, but it is for sure will end when they run out of ice cream. The only way to know is to go there and check it out yourself. The locations the ice cream truck will pass by is provided on the site, with "Follow the ice cream van" title ( http://www.heraldsun.com.au/leader/features/sweetnetwork-dan… ). I will check for any update from the local council or Vodafone and post it here asap.

Right. Make sure check the location on the phone- if it has signal.

Well if you are on Voda you won't have any issues cause the network shits all over the competition these days #justsaying

it's hard to get congested on a network when everyone left it a year ago.

Really. I have a few colleagues who are on voda and they don't have much signal even in the cbd.

I used to be with voda but after continuing issues with the network, I ditched them. BTW I can afford an ice cream too.

  • I'mguessing li'l voda could represent the greatest threat to the majors as it does not have an existing fixed line 'base as such. Wireless 4g, in particular, should demonstrte a potential to be a compelling medium substitute for those very lightest data users, think: 10-20gb pm the most profitable/protected consumers. imagine if voda were to raise the profile of existing 51¢*-per-350MB flexible 'packs— largely a hidden quantum as it presently stands, but with potential to wreak certain turbulence.
But all these bad actors still need to keep moving , SingtelOptus bringing in Time division next year etc shortly, heating up.
