Game almost complete….save gets corrupted.
I play a lot of RPGs and this is why I now obsessively have tons of rolling saves. The game that triggered it was Curse of the Azure Bonds, a licensed D&D game. I had been playing it for months and was getting near the end when my 5.25" floppy that my save file was on died on me. 1st time a game actually made me cry. :'-(
Just the other week I was playing the Zelda windwaker reboot and my gamepad (the big wii one) ran out of battery so I put it down to charge. My wii-u shuts down automatically after 1 hour idle so the three hours of gameplay I had was lost. What is worse is it was the really annoying gameplay too like getting photos and mapping everything out.
That happened weeks ago and I haven't touched it since. Can't imagine how it would be losing and entire save in an rpg.
