Yeah I found a carton at a local independant bottle o for $40 and came with a pretty decent cap for summer. Had I known at the time its usually at DM for $45-50 I would have taken away a lot more than 1 carton.
Always tends to be around $40 mark pre Christmas.
On extreme heat days, try putting Corona in the freezer for around 45 minutes (depending on the strength of your freezer!) and get a refreshing semi-slushie beer!
Or any beer for that matter!!
I gave the aldi "storm pale ale" a go last weekend, pretty decent pale ale, not up there with the other top brand stuff but it's pretty good for 32 bucks a carton.
Costco is selling corona's slab for $39.95 (Dockland Melbourne store)
last year DM had cartons of that Carlton Dry shit for around $28.99 i hope that happens again this pre xmas.
Eh ok value for that "beer" I guess not that you would ever find me paying for it. Personally I don't think Corona is worth anywhere near the premium that usually applies to it.
You want an easy-to-neck summer beer that has a flavour I recommend the Coopers 62 Pilsner.
