How do $400 Branded Sunnies come into this equation?

      • +1

Shhhhhh, They're only $300, and its coming up on christmas so its my present to myself haha. I've just had lazer eye surgery so for the first time in my life I can get myself a decent pair of non prescription sunglasses and I'll be damned if my first new pair of sunnies is going to be a pair of cheap Bali RayBans :P That'll be my second pair haha ;)

        • Those fakes are shocking, can't complain at a buck.

two words maui jim. it's sort of like once you go black you'll never go back. oakleys=shite

      • You can generally acquire a good set of, rather, adept polarized photochromic wear - from off the back of an assembly-line, a la Shenzhen- style Lai Peng for "25%." Similar frame I have sourced via ebay 2012, crosshair design, alike to those heavily blingy pairs, have held up well so far as all cosmetics, but also filter glare when behind the windshield, most effective during night transition.

  • nj thanks!

  • looks like Oakley is allowing shipping to Australia today. Have been after the straight jacket for a while and they never shipped this way, until now. Might be an error?
    Great find op!

I purchased items before… and got charged "international fees" :(

  • I purchased frogskins last week, no problem shipping to Australia, they are currently on their way here. I even managed free shipping because I bought multiple pairs. I don't think the shopping to Australia bit is an error.

  • Not exactly a deal. Bought the same pair from Amazon 2 years ago for $130 delivered.

Agree, I bought a pair of polarised crosshair 2.0's off ebay in 2011 for $145 +$30 shipping

A negative is harsh when you are comparing an ebay sale with one from a company like Amazon that only sell genuine products with real UV protection.

As for Amazon selling to Australia in my experience in looking over a 12+ month period they never shipped to Australia in that time and this is only a recent change which I suspect is an error. I purchased a pair of Crosshair 2.0 polarized around 6 weeks ago when Amazon didn't ship to Australia and I purchased them from the UK for around 10% more than the Amazon price, this was the best price I could find at the time online (excluding ebay as their prices were not much cheaper and the counterfeit factor meant it wasn't worth the risk).

  • Does anyone know the credit card that can be used to avoid interaction fee?

    • I presume you mean foreign currency transaction fees?
28 degrees mastercard and citibank plus visa debit card are your best options.

    • Amazon can charge in AUD

How? I've always been buying in U.S currency..

        • In checkout it gives you the option to change currency.

  • Bam! Straight Jacket I ordered dropped to $140 today, contacted live chat and got the difference refunded :)

Oakley Crosshair 2.0 Metal Sunglasses now dropped to $100 USD
