I want something that is able to travel long distance good brand quality something that will last obviously price is a factor I am on a DSP depending on quality and performance I am looking at 1000-2000 maybe a little more , any help/ advice would be appreciated.

If you want a place to do some initial research, the Independent Living Centres Australia (ILCA, a collective organisation providing independent advice), and the equivalent state organisations (eg. ILC NSW) are a good start.

For example, the following ILC NSW link provides info on Powered Scooters (available products, specifications, retail prices, list of suppliers)…
    http://www.ilcnsw.asn.au/minor_groups/219/grid/1

    ILC Australia website:
    http://ilcaustralia.org.au/

If you're interested in second hand products, e-Bility.com has a Classifieds section…
