Been a follower as OZbargain for years, I have to register in the first time to tell everyone this mobilecity is totally posing a false advertisement to draw people's attention.
I placed order for the Razer Blackwidow 2013 Expert Mechanical Gaming Keyboard sales on 20th Nov 13. At the time of checking out, obviously suffered from stuck and crash of all sorts on my iphone, It ASKED my credit card details and said nothing about back order. It showed I placed a order but the status showing pending since.
Until 2 night later, I had to write a email to this website to ask about, then they replied me by saying 'Thanks for your email. Unfortunately we could not process your order at the moment as your payment didn't go through.'
But usually when you placing an order on the internet, if the card cannot be accepted, it will reject your order.
Now when I called them 3 days later, one of their representative, Jay Feng, saying the payment didn't go through, and it would be my responsibility to make sure payment is successful. Okay, but there is no clue about my credit card is not working either in your website or at the time of placing the order. and he added also there is no stock available so even I pay now, they cannot supply this stock.
I totally understand this is very limited stock for this sale. but If you don't have enough stock,I should have been rejected in the first place not until after you taking my credit card details and found there is no stock, and do not cancel the order or phone or email my about the situation.
I strongly recommend ozbargain website should ban this website, at least fore a while and ozbargainers should be extremely careful with this so called serving Australia 13 years dumb astroturfing company. They can accept your credit card details and payments even they are knowing no stock.

For your order, the item was ordered when the item is out stock, so your order is on back ordered. Then the payment didn't not went through as well.
We currently don't have stock to fulfill your order in this case, even if we can organize payment.
However, we are not still trying to source more stock. If we can, we will contact you for payment and get the ordered sorted, if we can't, we would have no option but to cancel this order.

Obviously, they are making things up.
In the first place, there is nothing or whatsoever mentioned BACK ORDER when the order placed,
there is nothing or whatsoever mentioned something wrong with my payment.
after the order placed, it even gave me their 110 points.
no matter how, it seems to me a VALID transaction.
the keyboard even i pay full is about $110, it was for this unacceptable conducts to promote their business.
and from second email, they are saying as a company has a customer's credit card details and they would just took order first and found out they did not have the stock, then blamed customer for unsuccessful payment.

If its in Back Order, Happens all the time with other online store…
