I am looking for a good typing tutor for mac, basically I aim to learn touch typing over next couple of months and aim is to learn typing correct before speeding up the process. I am happy to pay a bit if its worth it.

http://www.reddit.com/r/keyboards/comments/13vwts/what_is_th…learning to touch type is all about beating your bad habits. You might be tempted to default back to your '2 finger typing' habit when you're writing in Gmail for example, but if you continually force yourself to type the proper way (all 10 fingers; no cheating) you can learn very quickly.
I absolutely adore Typeracer. +1 for this post. Offers a practice mode and a ghost mode for you to try to beat your previous run, or if you're up to it you can challenge other people who are on the site as well.
That, and after you finish typing the paragraph it tells you where it was retrieved from - I've managed to find a few good books from that website.
Why not use free sites?
