means u have to hold it quite high up
i would recommend testing it before you get one!

Haven't got mine.. but I'd point you to some reviews that seem to suggest it's fine to hold and play. Gripes are with the lack of hinges and larger footprint though

This review I was watching the other day suggested its ergonomics will be very much dependent on hand size. Wise for the intended user to test before buying.
I have a 2DS
I find it superior to the 3DS or 3DS XL in terms of comfort and general performance.
It is quite fustrating that you cant just fold it and put in your pocket and i still cant find any pouches for it either.
My first 2DS died within a week, it developed a problem where it would turn off if you press the casing near the d-pad, i suspect it was a wiring fault.
Despite this, I would happily recommend a 2DS to anyone.
There's a 2DS case on the Big W website for $14.
just curious, but when registering the 2ds does the eshop knows ur are using a 2ds with the serial number or something or it gives u options what console u have.

What's the warrantee process for a dead 2DS?
Nintendo comes to your house, and cuddles you ever so gently, because you're of course no longer able to play Pokemon or Zelda. Life without these would be very traumatic to you.
EDIT: 12 months cuddle warranty only.
Damn. Wish they had the same sort of cuddle warranty after failing to pass the water temple on 3DS OOT. I ended up just cracking the sads and selling the lot. Got most of my money back but really could have used the cuddle. It was devastating.
Better off getting a Pink or Red 3DS for $149 when they where available at Kmart. At least you could get a free copy of Super Mario 3D Land when you register it and a eligible game.
