I normally just wait for a bargain to buy my HDMI cords but if I couldn't wait where is the best place to buy good value cords from ?
Thanks.

I have no idea whether you're joking or not.
Why not? Digital signals either work or they don't. If it doesn't work you can take it back. If it does the image quality will be exactly the same as any other cable.
Lampshaded in Mass Effect 2.
Ebay for me
I suspect you missed this part:
if I couldn't wait
I took it as 'if I couldn't wait [for a bargain to come up]' rather than 'if I couldn't wait [at all]'
Aldi
MSY.
+1 for MSY, I think I paid $8 and it seems to be pretty decent, although it may be true that you can use any HDMI cable since it is a digital signal, that only applies to short distances. I believe anything over 8m, you would want to get something with a pretty thick gauge and they end up jumping in price. The guys on AVS forums recommend the monoprice cables, but since you will need it now that's probably irrelevant. (Just my 2 cents anyway)
This seller http://stores.ebay.com.au/gabbiegooks/PARK-HDMI-CABLES-econo… listings on eBay are an absolute riot and I bought one of his cheap 2 metre HDMI's for $2.85 w/free postage and it works fine! (Now only $2.82) Why pay more?
Why miss this opportunity to fund the sellers therapy/counselling/eBay web design re-education?
