Maxo have a sale on some VoIP phones. I've been shopping around for one of these, the sale prices are much cheaper than elsewhere, and the free delivery is a nice bonus. I ordered one.
These Gigaset phones have a landline port, so you can still receive calls on your landline number, and call out on a VoIP line. Best of both worlds.
Don't know. I ordered the C610A - The price difference isn't much so I might as well get the top model. I think the main difference is a colour screen. And the "A" at the end means answering machine.
The colour screen also is much higher resolution which can be handy for seeing long numbers in one go, getting extra lines in one view etc.
Also, some models have a 2.5mm socket for a headset whilst others don't - I'm not sure which of the ones linked to by the OP have this features but it's extremely handy.
Fantastic phones that can do heaps of cool things - editing address books on the PC is really handy.
Facebook & ebay seems to be a bit gimicky. The weather service is handy (I use it). I'd love to find a way to use the SMS feature.

Anyone tried the handsets with a Fritz Box? I'm presuming email and the like won't work, but the DECT probably would…

Thanks for your effort posting this eDust, I just missed out the last time Maxo had them on sale.
Bought the C610IP and an extra handset for $204 delivered as do not need or use an answering machine, the same is at least $30 more elsewhere on quick searching.
jong, not so random, have to confirm the order via SMS and then email to get to a secured and encrypted link for payment details, credit card only yes and Paypal would have been preferred by me also but they choose their allowed payment methods I guess and the results of those that do not like them.
