I'm very tempted. How good is the noise cancelling. I seem to be seeing mixed reviews. I know I can't expect them to be as good as the Bose QC2 for this price, but as those are the only ones I have used before, I would be interested in knowing how close these come to that level of noise cancelling.
I'm not amazed by the noise cancelling, but it's not what I bought them for. I also don't really have a comparison point as I've not used other noise cancelling headphones in years.
It was enough to drown out a reasonable level of train noise which was all I needed, and it doesn't seem to have a substantial impact on the music.
You could find one in store somewhere and see if they manage to drown out atrocious store radio!
I have a pair of these. Not bad, not fantastic. They sound quite clear but lack depth, very good for middy jazz and the like, less good for harder rock.
My pair easily survived a year in my backpack (they come with a case that I've been using) so they're reasonably well built. At this price probably worth it.
