LG 55" Full HD Smart 3D LED 200Hz TV 55LA7400 - should I wait till after Xmas?
Comments
Hmm thanks lowndes.
From info I can find both tvs are great, but the 7400 is a better model. Will have some thinking to do.
I guess it's the age old question, does size really matter? :-/The 55 also comes with 2 x dual play glasses and the magic remote, don't think the 60 does.
60inch comes with 4x 3D glssses. No magic remote but can get them for $30 off ebay but you dont really need it.
A 100hz tv is not crap, very smooth and colourful.
I disagree i find it has ghosting and sometimes cant handle fast moving images. Would never get 100Hz again.
From what I've read, 200 is a must if you watch a lot of sport. That seems to be the only definitive answer I can find for 100 vs 200.
I myself will get a 200 though. Just can't decide which one. Lg is winning because of the dual play.
Can even go higher during x'mas, but with tv's it always worth to wait. I purchased one in June thinking should v cheaper due to year ending but now in just three months it come down by $300.
this is the perfect post for me!
I am after a 55" LED TV the 3D is not important but I cam sick of ghosting/flickering on fast movement in movies and sport so I think 200hz is a must, what is the better one of these 2 TV's and by boxing day can you see the price coming down much?
I think the price just did come down about $300 in the last 2 weeks anyway, will it really go down much more?
OR do I not worry about 100hz and literally ave $1000 and just buy a 120hz kogan TV? (apparently a Samsung panel with passive 3D (not sure how they can do that since I thought LG has the patent and only sold it to Panasonic?
i bought on the weekend, from DJ's a 65' Panasonic plasma $2200 on sale from $2800
th-p65st60A
bigger and a better TV for that price range me thinks.
How many Hz though…?
Panel NeoPlasma
Aspect Ratio 16:9
Panel Drive 2500 Hz FFD
Picture Mode Dynamic/Normal/Cinema/True Cinema/Custom
Contrast 1:5,500,000Thanks for the links, but I have never heard of 2500hz? whats the FFD mean?
How do you find the picture, I heard still not as good as LG?
and this is a bed room TV for me, so 55" is the biggest I think I would go…
Im sure The Good Guys had a 60" FHD, 3D, Smart TV, 200Hz for $2096 around 2 weeks ago.
You want a 200HZ, i have a 100HZ and its crap. Will be getting a 200HZ very shortly
