They are often this price at chemist warehouse.

    • +3

After Christmas(during Boxing Day sale), they are generally 0.45 cents for 100pack.

      • +2

        Wow, that's cheaper than food.

  • what about panamin

  • +1

I eat these for brekky. Great price :)

Advisable not to. Too many paracetamols will kill your liver. Aspirins in overdose (~70) are also lethal, but both are very unpleasant ways to die.

When I was working in hospital, I saw a young lady who OD'd on 100 tablets in a suicide attempt. She didn't die, but was left paralysed from the neck down. It was pretty tragic.

chemist warehouse has fake med's and fake perfumes.

    • so why dont you make some money by taking them to court

      • because you cant sue someone for lies.

buiskillz telling lies, not proving them.

        • exactly my point

Panamax gave me an unbearably dry throat which caused more trouble than it solved. Now I have 98 tablets I have no intention of consuming. Wasn't worth saving that extra 2 dollars compared to Panadol.

    • +12

Take them back and the pharmacist should be able to reformulate them into suppository form. No more sore dry throat.

shove your 99cent paracetamol up your ass

        • +4

This is one of the funniest things I've ever read on OzBargain! hahahah!!

        • shove your 99cent paracetamol up your ass

Not sure that Panadol makes a suppository version

        • +2

That would be 97.02cent paracetamol up your ass, 2 tablets already used :) Just say'n.

      • +1

Great, now he has a dry ass.

        • Better than a wet one.

      • Again, I believe that will end up in net pain which defeats the purpose of taking it. Though, that is great that it's the first option you can think of to alleviate pain. I suppose it comes with your tried and tested seal of approval

    • A side effect of paracetamol is dehydration. Why do you think they say to take it when you have a head cold??

  • Sweet, paracetamol cereal every morning from now on.

  • Note: Made in India

      Am I missing something?

Last time these had a short use by date if that sort of thing concerns you. Sadly India does not have a good record on drug quality.

i don't know what you're talking about, my steroids ARE FINE AND I DON"T GET ROID RAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • These specials encourage more regular dosage of Panadol even when you really don't need it.

Anyway try not to take Panadol when you can, eg. small headches from lack of sleep or rest etc

    • +2

      Thanks doc.

    • Yeah drink water…..
