  How does sizing work for the wayfarers? Been eyeing off ray-bans for a while but never bought a pair.

    Hey Sharks,

    The Original Wayfarers (RB 2140) come in the 47mm, 50mm or the 54mm. The simple explanation for sizing is as follows:

    47mm = small sized face
    50mm = medium sized face
    54mm = large sized face

    Let us know if you need further information than that. Some people are on the border, but others know whether they have a smaller face, or a larger face and if neither, then you'd go for the medium size (50mm!).

    Hope that makes sense, as I mentioned, please don't hesitate to ask for further details if you require them.

      How do these measurements compare to reguler glasses/can I compare the sizing to reading glasses?

        Hi there - yes we made a small change and the links broke. Now the sale items are scattered on the website! If you browse on your phone, the items are sorted with discounted items moving to the top!

        Yes you can compare them with your glasses, you just need to get us the three measurements "55 3 145" for example and we can tell you which one is appropriate for you.

        Generally sunglasses are larger, but you will get a good indication. It's generally best to simply determine how you would categorised the size of your face, and pick a pair, but if you have the measurements we can try measuring them up for you!

        Do you have any cheaper black/plain Original Wayfarer ray-bans? I wonder if I was looking at the $175.99s which look like they had special lenses?

        haha, no problem - you should definitely go for the 54mm then. There's actually a nice option for you in the 54mm, that's very cheap at the moment.         just having a look now. Do you guys have 57MM or am i finding fakes? I'm unsure about 54MM and would rather bigger then smaller.

  Looking at sizing for the Prada - SPR 27NS-1AB/3M1, as the site does not have a drop down in check out for sizes? how do you choose?
  Looking at this as a present and being xmas is around the corner works out perfectly. Been asking for these sunnies for ages, but would need the correct size as xmas is over the 30 day return policy. Cheers

    Hi there - you're in luck! There's only one size made in the Prada 27NS :) So if you've tried on this piece/were happy with the piece from the past, then you can be assured that it's the exact same size.
