Find me a bargain AirAsia ADL - KUL A$149 or less this November

Any info or insider that AA will be selling ADL - KUL for $149 or less? For this month. Want to sample their 99 one way but sold out that time. Was offered 149 but refused but now is 199 sometimes 289 depending the 'mood' of the software??

When the price is 149 oneway they stated the seat price is $1 but believe they can't be serious coz tax and charges say 148. So could be employee service charge xx, fuel charges xx, office rent charge xx, utilities charges xx, hey that's almost all variable costs….

      Hi, for this month of Nov 2013… any info coz I'm looking for their 149 one way. Not sure if they'll put KUL on promo again. The price for KUL - ADL stays all flat at 199 worse can fetch 289.

    With Air Asia X, you have to grab bargains the minute they go on sale or you're out of the game. Even then you have to be lucky 'cos their servers get overloaded. At least, that's been my experience.

    They are really of no use to anyone who cannot make an instant decision, and who can't plan ahead, ie people like me with a job, and inability to count on getting leave approved.

    I suspect they only offer $99 fares when they have minimal forward bookings for a quiet period and want to stimulate demand. As with all the other airlines, I don't think they generally offer too many seats at bargain basement prices, and probably only on certain flights.

    Their ability to offer too many bargains might be constrained a little by increased terminal charges once they move into the new Low Cost Terminal 2 at KLIA, mid next year. Tony Fernandes has not been happy with the costs associated with this massive new terminal, and what it will cost Air Asia and Air Asia X to use, compared with the third world tin shed dump they use now, miles away from the main KLIA terminal.

    If you want to go now, you might need to grab the $199 fare. Otherwise check for November next year, and see what they are offering. Booking 12 months out, might get the price down.
