Just spotted this deal at Kmart Broadway it appears to be on clearance. Not for me but maybe it will be useful for someone else….a stocking stuffer? There were about 10 white units (including the display) that I saw. There was a solitary blue display unit as well. Maybe check other Kmarts and confirm of it is a national thing. I could not find this on the Kmart website

It really isn't a great deal considering that you can get a 3DS console for $150 at Kmart, which can play 3DS and DS games.

People considering getting one of these as a gift for a kid should know that it can't play the new Pokemon games.

I think the comment on Chinese people is rich given that you're on a bargain hunting website looking to buy said chinese made products at the lowest possible price you can find.
The comment was only meant to highlight the fact that we are so well off in this country, however most cry poor and it's political suicide to admit things are good here.
If we were serious about helping the people being taken advantage of in factories overseas we would put as much effort into holding the culprit multinationals responsible as we do in trying to save money. I was also agreeing that $69 != stocking stuffer.
Called them up broadway have more than 10 just called. Just going to purchase this and have this graded and later perhaps 10-15 years time it will be a collectors item and be least worth $1000. That's how much a sealed nintendo 64 is worth around.

These are also useful for trading pokemon from gold/silv/platinum etc/black/white to black and white 1/2 for the pokebank app coming out next month, which will take them to XY.
which begs the question, why buy a ds when you can play gold/silv/platinum on a 3ds/3ds xl?
A 3DS costs a lot more than 60 dollars, so if you dont really need 2 3DS's, this is the cheaper alternative for trading your pokemon.
