IMO this deserves it's own deal, not as good as the Woolies' one (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/121907), but there are plenty in stock. In my household, we use about 1L of oil per month, bought enough to last until next Christmas.

Very alarmist; while the oil may lack Omega 3, that's not enough reason to "stay away from this oil", especially considering its benefits.
Looks a report straight from Roswell.
worthy source of amino acids
really???
some people are wary of GM crop products, but for oils???. A high consumption of omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are also found in most types of vegetable oils,

i kind of wish i could supsize fonts to +300

Grabbed a 3L container at Coles this week as unfortunately my local Woolies ran out of stock of the 4L container :(
Really good oil for cooking, go ahead and use it much better than Canola and other vegetable oils due its high smoke point so you cook with high heat with no issues.
I don't buy rice bran oil anymore - maybe read this before you stock up…
http://www.changinghabits.com.au/_blog/Changing_Habits/post/…that article again contradicts itself.
it says. That's followed by neutralisation, bleaching, winterisation and de-odourisation steps, as with most other oils.
then
what you lose is the "naturalness" of the oil.
/facepalm.
no, if you are so concern about naturalness of the oil, cut yourself (to the article's author) and squeeze out that fats and use it for cooking, its good for the environment and good for recycling.
seriously.
Wow, that's very uninformative, seems the author doesn't like it because the process of extraction isn't "natural"! I'm still gonna buy it…
IMO in terms of bang for buck this is one of the best amongst cooking oils.
