Noticed this deal today on one of the new Wii u bundles at Eb Games online, don't know if its in stores as well.
You get super Mario u, super luigi u and rayman legends as a separate game

Yeah bit suss but it's still a good deal I rekon its more like save $99
Probably even less considering you don't get Nintendoland…
Good point.. I made the assumption that nintendoland would always come with the premium console. While considering rayman is currently $28 at eb games.. Then essentially this deal saves you $28 over the other retailers stocking the same bundle.
yep, definitely not a $199 saving…
Well if you look at the console price by its self its like 399, for the new super Mario u its like what $70? and the new luigi u is about same and raymans is about $30
probably a good price if you were going to buy all those games anyway, but still doesn't explain the false savings claims…
This is the new bundle which already includes the two mario games, so the only bonus is Rayman.
Only bonus is Rayman, nintendo will cut the price drastically in the next 6 months to compete with the next gen consoles.
"only bonus is Rayman"
At this point can't find any other stores selling the bundle, so not sure what you're comparing them too. If I had to guess I would imagine the bundle being priced ~$350 or so (possibly more) given the current Target deal is a Wii U basic, and has no Mario (although you get a controller).
Your 'projected' Nintendo price cut is also pretty irrelevant. No idea what's going to happen in 6 months, the 3DS XL prices have actually gone up unfortunately for me. So yeh, with a pretty nice game library coming out next year who knows what will happen with the Wii U.
Obviously not the exact same thing, as Premium model comes with 32GB of storage, bundle adds in Rayman and Super Mario U.
However, your call if they're worth more than $100
Has anyone tried getting this deal at a brick and mortar eb games store? I think they only have the bundle without the Rayman game at that price. I''m thinking of getting this as a gift tomorrow and waiting for postage would be too late.
That is BS. You can easily get those games much cheaper everywhere…
