Which soap is better? Gamophen or Cetaphil?

With the warmer months coming I tend to sweat and that isn't good news for me so I am trying to decide between buying antibacterial soaps as oppossed to just run of the mill fraganced soaps.
The contenders are:

Gamophen Antibacterial Medicated Soap 100g with Triclosan 10mg/g

and

Cetaphil Antibacterial Bar 127g with Active ingredient: triclosan 0.3%

The price is also different by a big margin but if anyone who has used them can vouch for any, I'd not matter.

  • If you dont have sensitive skin or any skin conditions, you only need a normal fragrant soap, they're all the same shit.

  • Actually, I do have dry skin too.

    • Use Dove - it's the best

  • Try goats milk soap. It's very expensive over the net, but at Chemist King a 100g bar is $3.28 (don't know how much at other chemists) It's great for dry, sensitive, rashy skin. Highly recommend it :)

  • I used to sweat a lot, and a lot was stressing about the amount I was sweating.
I went to the chemist and they sold me an unscented roll on, a crystal so to speak, which I just wet and rolled on my underarms. The sweating stopped and now a days I don't sweat near as much.
    Food for thought.

  • What is the point of using antibacterial soap? It doesn't offer any benefits over normal soap for reducing sweating etc. It might have some benefits for acne if that's your problem but I'm not sure.

I use goats milk soap ($3 for a 100g bar at Chemist Warehouse) or Velvet Pure Soap (about $3.50 for 450g at the supermarket, less on sale) which is quite pure in that it doesn't have heaps of complicated chemical compounds in it.
