Just signed up to virgins $20 byo phone plan which allows you to roll over unused credit and there is an additional bonus of 1gb per month!
200 dollars credit plus 1gb is a pretty good deal to me. Especially when it is 4g compatible. Great for those who got the nexus 5 and don't need a plan with a phone.

They charged you $7? I had Vodafone waive a $179 early termination fee, when we renewed an account.
That is when you renew. Try terminate early and port your number out of Vodafone to see if they are so kind to you to waive 100% of it.
It is because I was going to a byo plan. If I upgraded to another contract, then sure, they would waive the complete fee for 3 months prior to my current contract ending….

I have a Tesltra Easy - $30 prepaid with 500GB Data. Probably not 4G but I have a T Prepaid 4G Wireless too. This plan includes free calls to any number in Oz from 6AM to 6PM and weekends. I use that to phone mates and family in the evening and I don't think you can beat that for value, considering its a Telstra Service.

yes, the promo has ended early but I've still managed to have my plan changed. I've upgraded from the BYO $29($19) to $30($20). An extra dollar gives me an additional 1GB data per month. I don't really use call or SMS that much so the $50 reduction in call credits is not an issue for me.
