Huggies Little Snugglers Premmies - $114 for 180 Nappies (Free Shipping in Perth)

30

We've recently welcomed the arrival of our baby girl! She's a tad tiny, hence we need to get the premature nappies for her. I've looked around everywhere and finally found a shop in O'Conner (Perth) that sell them for a decent price.

Nappy Online - thank you for stocking them and also for great service and delivery!

I also look up Amazon UK think I may be able to find something reasonable - I think not (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B0009F3N0A/ref=dp_o…)

Yep, younger one starting school next year… It will be very quiet at home. I'll probably get more work done…

  • If your baby is large enough sometimes the Huggies newborn can be folded down to fit premmies. Often the neonatal nurses show you how to do this before your bub is discharged, and that way you are not stuck with teeny tiny nappies if they are lucky enough to grow quickly.
Best of luck with your little one

    • Thanks, I didn't know about that. She's actually not a premmie, she was born very small. The hospital was kind to give us an extra pack of the premmies, but they were running out and I couldn't find them anywhere.

It is easy to do once you have been shown!(hard to explain in words alone) All you have to do is fold the front top edge over and down anywhere from 2 to say 7cm, the tabs will still hold the nappy in place over the folded front edge, very similar to how they often fold down the front edge to miss the belly button and cord stump. The legs on Huggies nappies are elasticated, so making the front shorter also makes the leg holes more snug, and thus a nappy for a 3kg can also fit a 2kg.
Of course some bubs are smaller than this and then the premmie nappies would make it easier.

    • Thanks!

    • This is exactly what we did for our 1.78kg premmie and my sister did the same for her 980g premmie. Couldn't fathom the cost of premmie nappies imported from the US. And you're right Wishingchair, the baby will grow out of them and you'd be stuck with the tiny nappies.
