This isn't as cheap as the CentreCom $75 Western Digital 2TB drive from a few weeks ago, but it might be one for Seagate fans :)

its also not as cheap as the recent "Seagate 2TB 3.5" Hard Drive $63"
Can Seagate be trusted?
nope, just like no other hard drive can be trusted…..
all hard drives fail, its just the length of time it takes each particular drive to fail that varies from drive to drive (not so much manufacturer to manufacturer tho)..
best to use a chisel and hammer on stone. those things last forever
well i heard someone say that once…… but i still find they fail at times as well….. where are those mythical imaginary 10 commandments?
Wish this was the 3tb :(
1 year warranty, beware :)
Warranty (years): 3
Is that on "special" at Officeworks? MSY sells 2TB Seagate for $95. http://www.msy.com.au/product.jsp?productId=9615
have you tried refunding/exchanging something at msy?
Yes countless times. Last was a couple months ago, RMA'd 7990 and 7970 and exchanged with an asus 280x. Asked nicely and got $40 off and 8 free game codes as reimbursement for troubles. Could be store specific though. I was at the Auburn store.
I've heard that they're the best branch in Sydney, very good customer service.
Seagate has fans??
- raises hand *
Seagate has fans??
nope… they are passively cooled :)
Not a deal sorry.
Nothing special about this price at all, several places seem to sell it for less.
oh no, I am back to mid 2012 again. I don't want to go over the end of world scare another time.
Regular price, and Dick Smith had them for $79 here http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/117856
