Cheapest Way to Buy Genuine Ink Cartridges?

Hi guys,

Just wondering as above, anyone have any ideas to get cheap ink cartridges?

I was asking around before, where JB was offering buy a printer and get 50% off ink.

The cheapest Canon printer they had during one of their "30% off sales" was $33, the ink cartridge I need cost ~$20 (from elsewhere), and I needed around a 6-7 of them. JB stock them for $22 ea so

6 Ink cartridges nets a saving of $56, minus the cost of the printer = $23 saving ~25% off, and I'll have a printer that I can ebay.

Since then however, JB has reduced the discount to 25%.

Anyone have any other ideas?

    If it's just for everyday printing, why not switch to compatible ink?

      i genuinely print photos with it, albeit not all of the time, but lots of the time.

      and just a personal preference to use genuine ink on this printer

        The ones we purchase from Ink Station are genuine for our Samsung clx-3185fn. Great price,good service & fast delivery.     Did you think about refill? I was like you before, prefer genuine ink but after I notice how much I spend in the ink I did some research and found there is no big different between buying brand new genuine ink and refill it.
    And it's easy to refill it by yourself without any miss especially some of canon inks.
    Just buy high quality ink and will last around 20 times the genuine ink (in my experience with the black ink)
    Also not forgetting its good for the environment ;)

    There are some printer companies that offer discount coupons on their website, and you can simply print them out the next time you purchase an ink. Some also offers discounts when you purchase it online or when you purchase them in bundles. You can also try checking out sites such as www.cartridgesdirect.com.au and you can save few cash because they offer free delivery.
