Best credit card for Flybuys for buying 10 return tickets to Europe

so, have to book return tickets to europe.

need 10. so estimating to spend around $13,000 -$15,000

planning on going late next year so plenty of time to apply for any other card.

to maximise my CC purchase experience then which credit card would provide the best returns in terms of -

fly buy points
travel insurance

any other bebefits I can obtain from using a particular CC?

Usually the travel insurance is restricted to the account holder + sometimes spouse/kids. If you are booking the flights with Virgin the Velocity Platinum Amex would be a good choice because it has 50k bonus points for joining plus 3 points per dollar spent with Virgin Australia. Travel insurance provided for you + spouse + dependant children under 22yrs. Also gives 2 lounge passes and a free domestic flight each year. Annual fee is $349 but it would be worth it if you are spending that much money.

  Other airlines probably have similar co-branded credit cards too.

Not sure why you are restricting yourself to credit cards with Flybuy rewards? There are many other types of rewards credit cards available.
