I'm after a cordless solution to take overseas for my old parents. They have a gatekeeper in front and often needs to buzz them inside the house to check before letting people in.
So one phone will be out doors the other base station will be inside the house.
Is there a handset I could get them? I went to JB hifi today they told be there's uniden ones but I need to check online.
Any help will be appreciated.

I'd be concerned about it being "Splashproof" as opposed to Waterproof.
Also, what range are you looking at?
(allowing for the Receiver being inside).
Also be wary of the Voltage of the Unit and that available overseas and what support may be offered in
that country (if any).
I'm looking at this one as it has the phone calling function as they need to contact the guard outside who needs to talk with my parents before letting them in.

The range would be long as outside door is far from the double story brick house.
The voltage in Australia would be same as the overseas 220-240V

You can let the guard hold the portable one if wiring is a hassle.
