    Delivery no longer free for me … I've had 3 free deliveries & the computer has caught up. My brief love affair with Woolies online may be on the rocks already as it seems it will cost me $13 a time for the pleasure in future! Seems she only wanted me for my money and I'll be going back to faithful Aldi. :)

        Locations still seem a bit sparse for c+c, I live in metro Melbourne but the closest pickup location is 20kms away.

  • The last time I ordered, they replaced some items with other items, but ended up having more in value.

    Did anyone else experience this? That saying I really wished they shipped the item I ordered and not the ones that replaced those.

      Just make sure you do not tick substitute. On the phone i dont think we see that option but if you amend the order you can change it (but amending order has a warning as it creates a new order)

      On the ipad or computer its easier to see the substitute column

        Somewhere in Account Settings you can deselect the default which allows for substitution.
        Only noticed anything to do with substitution when my receipt showed 'True' for substitution for each item.

        What happens if your item is unavailable?
        Do they just refund you that amount?

        • Yeh i turned mine off to substitute = false and it still ticks it for me.

          If it is unavailable they will refund the full amount.

  • Didnt work for me. I do WOW online shop pretty much every week and am a Entertainment Book subscriber.

    Just got off the phone to Wow online, basically been advised that the code has been abused and will not work.

    They did give me a coupon code to the value of $10, which was good of them.

    • Strange, I did an order yesterday with the code and just tried applying the code on another order and it still worked (didn't submit the second order).

  • Would woolworths do a safe drop if you are not home to accept delivery?

  • FYI, I had an order for $50 worth of goods ($48 worth of Cat Food and $2 box of Premiums) and the guy only delivered the single box of Premiums to me today as the Cat food was out of stock.

    Very annoyed as I was running out and there was no notice of the lack of stock or even a 'lay-by' for the amount.

    If I had gone for a pick-up then I would have been able to just say switch to another flavour of cat food (and still get my $10 back).

    As an FYI, the invoice I received with my $2 Premiums said that the remaining $48 will be refunded to me.

        • Collected my items but they said they could only find 10/12 of the Cat food flavour I wanted and substituted two others. While I was waiting for them I went to the Cat food isle and saw four packets of my items and took a picture of it.

          When I showed the girl the picture she let me swap it out for what I actually ordered.

          Apparently when they packed it, there was not enough of the product available at the time.

          Annoying but at least I got my cat food for $10 less (out of $50).

          The only annoying thing now is that I'm still waiting for my refund for the initial 12 packets of cat food to come in. Based on the email I got recently they might actually be trying to source the 12 packets for me. Dunno. I still have not got the money refunded so it is a little confusing right now.

          you really do love your cat food..

        • It takes 3-5 days for Woolies Online to process refunds but you will get it.
          And if you ever order online again for delivery just tick the little box on checkout next to each item your happy to be substituted and they will send you very similar if not better items without extra charge.

        • Just a follow up on this. Called up Woolies and apparently they do not do credits to Gift Cards so I guess I would have not seen my money if I had not called them.

          The nice CSO arranged for the remaining Cat food to be delivered tomorrow night to my place so all good now.

  • Got an email saying items ordered are out of stock :-( I just ordered cooking ooil and I cannot believe Woolworths is oout of stock :-(:O

  • Just received my order today. 4 things were missing - don't know if coincidence or not but 3 of them were frozen food. Called them up and they said they'll issue a refund..

  • I noticed Alfa Bran Oil 4L was in stock last night. So I ordered at the cheap price!

    Now it's $21 or so now.

      You shouldn't have to ID yourself for a pack of corn flakes.

      I wouldn't give them anything.
      Let them cancel.

      BTW i paid by PayPal & wasn't 'randomly' selected.

      • Didn't have to provide ID as such in the end, they just wanted a legitimate phone contact rather than the string of 111's I initially put in (to avoid mobile spam). All good now.

  • Still working yesterday, got delivery today, fantastic!

  • Just ordered some more items online and used the tenoffentbook code to get another $10 off. I also had free delivery as well so I used that on top.

    My shopping trolley was just over $50 when I successfully applied the code. I did not try any other codes though.
