I had been looking for a wireless adaptor for my Nikon D3200 camera, but it was too expensive. cheapest available online is $49.95 as per Static ice website. I got one for myself, hope this will be helpful for someone. there are other camera offer as well.

Been looking for one.. Thanks mate!
Is there anyway I can get this to connect to a laptop? Seem like it will only connect to a smartphone or tablet.
Not 100% sure, but reports seem to indicate that Helicon Remote (for Windows) works with the adapter.
Do check their forums though.
Here's a link to Helicon Remote - http://www.heliconsoft.com/heliconsoft-products/helicon-remo…
Link for the wu-1b, which works with the Nikon D600/610 among others - http://www.jbhifi.com.au/photo/digital-cameras/accessories/n…

nothing for d800
Supposedly you can hack the WU-1a to work with the D800 - http://nikonrumors.com/2012/11/09/nikon-wu-1a-wireless-mobil…
and wait 5min to transfer each 50mb file.
been looking for one since the last Nikkon D3200 deal. thanks, mate!
Got the last WU-1b at Elizabeth, SA. Apparently more coming in. Thanks OP. Can see 1 WU-1a in the display cabinet.
However, the adaptor is useless without a camera. So bought a D610 as well for $1995 (!!)Been reading reviews.. even though its a pretty good device, the app is awful.. and ofcourse without the app this device also becomes as useless. Might return mine and just get a $2 IR remote..
before you do, if you have an android phone or tablet, look up DSLRDashboard

edit: DSLSRDashboard is what most people would assume the nikon app would do.
Thanks raichu
Didnt know other apps were compatible.
Will give it a try. Thanks
Maybe better having an Eyefi or flashair SD card?
What happens if your DSLR uses CF? What if you use multiple memory cards? The costs add up if you were to get a SD->CF adapter for the Eyefi and the extra cost of an Eyefi compared to a normal SD card is hardly worth it if you need multiple cards.
Thanks! Got one for my d5200. Works great with Android app 'DSLR Dashboard'. I was surprised how small this thing is. The case it comes with, which allows you to attach it to the camera strap, is a really nice touch.
Great price.. A little annoyed now that I just bought it from DWI Australia for like $47 + $15 delivery three days ago and just received it today!
