Foodland have a sale on Cobram olive oil for $18.99 (let's be honest, and call is $19 for 3 litres).
Cobram is one of the few olive oil brands that passed the test done by Choice Magazine. It supposedly retails for $30 for 3 litres at Foodland, but I often see it at Coles/Woolworths for about $25 for 3 litres.
I can highly recommend this olive oil - both taste and quality!
Note: I'm not sure if this is a Foodland wide special, or just for Romeo's Foodland. If you're a Foodland rep, the fragmentation between IGA, Foodland, Drake's Foodland and Romeo's Foodland is a first rate pain-in-the-ass. You never know what's on sale - and where it is ;)
The way to tell if the oil is extra virgin/first cold pressed, is to look for the conical flask logo. A lot of Italian and Spanish, imported oils have been found to be tainted. Only the conical flask logo, which a lot of Aus oils have, is the real deal.
