The Irobot Roomba 630 is a better choice also rated nr1 by "choice" for robotic vacuums. Cheapest I saw online for $529 was:

Don't bother - they do not work - I have one that I would gladly give to someone so they can have the same frustration but laughter @ watching it try to negotiate floors & furniture. Can't find it's way back to the base station & needs a helping hand or a boot up it's rear end to help it on its way. It totally loves chairs,all floor based furniture & anything in its way & will keep going back to give them another love whilst not interested in the main areas. We have had plenty of laughs from this useless piece of C*** but @ the end of the day it was not cheap & when I tried to contact the company -did not even have the courtesy of a return call. My suggestion is to stay away.
