Has anyone used cashrewards to get cashback for groupon purchases? and if so, how long do they usually take to come through? I tried some purchases last week, using the generic shop now button, and not clicking on any specific deal, and made a purchase. I'm not sure if that's for the shopping part of the website, or it's a generic button.

You go to Shop By: Daily Deals. On there, there's a "Shop Now" for Groupon. It takes you to the "shopping" deals though.

It's just that half the deals that groupon are offering don't have direct links, so I used that one a few times. It doesn't seem to have worked so far.
I think once you click through you should have tracking for that merchant and it should be fine from there. Might take a while for the tracking to propagate to CashRewards' website.
I find them very good, always pay, although you might have to wait a bit. Much faster than qwibble.
I just went through CashRewards to buy a Groupon voucher, but when it went to Groupon, I couldn't buy it. It just says "More info" and offers to email me if a similar Groupon deal comes up! But when I go to Groupon home and search up that deal, it's available for me to buy!
Andrew here from Cash Rewards. Thanks for bringing this matter to our attention, we have now rectified the issue and there should be no issues with shopping at Groupon from Cash Rewards and earning cashback.
Thanks Andrew. What happened to the HSBC cashback deal btw? I signed up when I saw it and then like a few days after, the deal has disappeared from the Cash Rewards website! Am I still getting the cashback?
Unfortunately HSBC discontinued the offer. Many of our members did well from this offer so it was a shame it has ended. Are you saying you set up an HSBC account from Cash Rewards whilst the offer was live and your cashback did not track ? If so let me know the details and we'll follow up.Cheers, Andrew

Hi Fiona. Did you sign up to an HSBC account using the links from Cash Rewards? And if so have you checked your Cash Rewards account and the HSBC transaction is not shown ? Let me know and we'll go from there. Andrew

Awesome! I was wondering what I was doing wrong because all of October, not once did I get any cashback for shopping at Groupon.
Does this actually work? Does it use a cookie or something? Would something like adblock be affecting my ability to earn rewards?
Usually for those cashback sites you need to click through their own tracking link before making purchases on merchant's site. I noted that on their Groupon page there's no "Shop Now" link. So without clicking on specific deal how do you actually go to the merchant's site?
