Both of these games are the cheapest I have found online, however be wary if you want DLC because I'm not sure what region these imports are.

Just picked up Kingdom hearts, I have never played any of them before and heard this is a fine spot to start from. Hopefully i enjoy it.
lucky you! never having had playing through again I want a game memories erase button so I can play these games again with no memory of them because they're so good.
The game mechanics have aged a fair bit. Nowadays just a standard hack and slash rpg. Where it stands out is the adorable and respectful homages to the original Disney source material. I'm a huge fan of the old 90s Disney renaissance movies, so it's wonderful seeing it so magically melded together with a sweet little RPG.
Same here! Played it literally a thousand times when I was younger so I picked it up on release date.
Sadly while the up-scaled graphics do look nice, there are a few noticeable glitches I've encountered and missing effects from the original PS2 version which is quite unfortunate. :'(
However, if you haven't played the game a dozen or so times before then you probably wouldn't really notice it.
I've stayed away from reviews/spoilers on 1.5 Remix so am surprised by that. Thought with the fanbase that KH has, and the 6 year wait that we were put through (since Sony pulled that dumbass move to strip out backwards compatibility on new ps3s since 2007) - figured through putting us through all that, Square-Enix would do everything possible to do a Remix on their fan favourite classic justice.
Well alas will reserve judgement til after I'm done with it. Am just glad Square Enix have finally acknowledged that we've all been wanting this upscale and given us what we've all long wanted.
