Was in the market for a headset for my Dota 2 games.

The microphone is actually built into the single cable, so if you don't have a motherboard which supports a combo headphone/mic port then you'll need to buy a splitter. Bit annoying really…
Where would you get the microphone from, or does it come with it ?
I checked the razer website but couldn't see if it was with the headphones.

Something like this, but a lot of motherboards have the combo ports built in.

also note the in-line mic has no volume/button controls :(
I actually really prefer that. No annoying weight continually snagging and pulling on your left ear. Most keyboards have a mute button and volume controls these days.
Apparently their sound and build quality are above par for a $50 pair of cans but the microphone has the recording quality of a WW2-era walkie-talkie:

They're not intended for PC gamers as there is no boom-style mic; rather it's actually built into the cord like a handsfree pair of earbuds for a phone.
Just needed something to replace my old orca. Will pick this up if I found any nearby
