  Very keen on this deal but I don't have an American Express card. How long does it take to get one and which one should I get? Is it worth using it to travel around Asia?

  Good deal but as you said it's not really quite 20% off because it's only off the actual air ticket - not the taxes or surchages, etc. I had flights for about 169 PER-SIN and it came down to 150 so a little over 10% in reality.

    i wonder if scoot charge extra compared for AMEX to regular Visa/Mastercards …as most places do

    if it does that does dwindle down the savings even more

    just bung the code in the promo code box when selecting dates on the flyscoot website.

    … could this mean you can pay using a non-amex ??

      Works for me The bag + food option is actually cheaper than just a bag on the way back for some reason.

      i get the same also for 12th
      there is a some small print at bottom of page.

      seats are limited and may not be available on all flights or all dates

      i dont know how else to explain it

  I searched for Sydney/Singapore return, and it seems to be taking the discount off the prices 'from' Singapore to Sydney..

  Is it an issue to pay for the air ticket using a friend's Amex card? Will they need to see the card at the airport as part of the ID verification? I've read this somewhere (some other airline) but can't remember the details.
