Currently on sale, not sure how long.

US version so it only plays US region games. For some this is a good thing, better range of obscure RPG games, and to be honest it seems most games are cheaper and more easy to find than locally.

It seems only Black/Blue and Black/Red are allowed to be shipped here.

Obviously warranty is null unless you send it back to Amazon or Nintendo US but I've heard Nintendo will make it very difficult for you.

Also note that the AUD price is Amazon's own currency conversion. You're own bank might be better/worse :)

  It's very annoying how local prices have gone up. People were lucky recently to score them for $199 but that was a misunderstanding.

  Ok if you only ever import games, but there has been some really good sales here in Aus for 3DS games recently.

    For new releases sure. But someone just buying into the 3DS now good luck finding stock of Ocarina of Time or Fire Emblem and for less than $50 bucks.

    Just got a Red/Black 3DS XL via this deal (took a week for the delivery). I can confirm that it is v4.4.0-10U. Yay! I'll still need to buy an Aussie power supply though - I though the power supply may be 110v/220v switching, but it doesn't look like it :(

  Thanks! Just bought one so I can play a niche title, rune factory. Have been waiting for over a year for it to release after Japan! Don't' want to wait another for PAL. Just hope all the generic titles in PAL like pokemon will work.

      Hey Ed, sorry about the late reply man. To be completely honest, I actually just walked up to the person in the gaming department at JB in fountain gate (vic) and said I had a friend who purchased one for this price and I'd like to get one too (I acted dumb to make it look more convincing).The guy said he'd do it even though he shouldn't no questions asked. He didn't even check the receipt. I think it may have just been luck.
