Gestalt Comics are having a sale for Halloween. In case you don't know who Gestalt Publishing are, they are Australia's premiere comics publisher. ABC recently had a doco about them called "Comic Book Heroes". Definitely worth watching even if you don't pick up the books.

Personal Opinion: Changing ways is the best series I have ever seen come out of this country. Art and story are both fantastic.

Definitely worth the look and I havent seen them go on sale direct through publisher before.

    I've always wanted to support an Aussie publisher but nothing's really sung out to me before.

    The Deep looks interesting though but $20 + postage for a physical book vs $6 on Comixology. I know which choice I'm making.

      Fair enough, I am too worried about putting money into Comixology specifically because you are renting access through their app as opposed to owning anything. As someone who spends hundreds or thousands on comics a year, I don't want to find out my entire collection is no longer available because some chap mismanaged a company.

      The only place I would get my comics online would be Image directly because they give you PDF/CBZ files of everything and you can make your own backups legally.

      I am also a sucker for a well compiled bookshelf.

        I generally only buy books on comixology I want to try and/or don't want to buy a physical version of as I know I'll only read it once. Then I'm not to concerned how long it'll last for.
