Will Apple Web Store offer further discounts on Educational Pricing on Black Friday?

I can remember that Apple offered modest discounts on their Australian Web Store on Black Friday (end November). Does anyone remember if they had further discounts on the Education Store pricing as well on that day? Wondering if I should return the rMBP I got at 10% off from JB and wait till end November to save a few more bucks. I got it for $1979 but the Edu Store has it for $1995. With the potential cashback of 3.5% this is already about $50 less than the discounted price from JB/DS…

    Hey mate,

    When I shopped on Black Friday 2 years ago at the Apple Store - they made me choose one discount (for a Macbook Air). I think the Black Friday discount was slightly cheaper (like $20 or something).

    Sorry about this! But to be safe, give the store a ring!

    Also - this was in store… might be different online!

    $50 wouldn't be worth the hassle to me on a $2000 computer. Besides, you get the use of the system for the next 4 weeks as well.

    your alamost always just better off waiting for a 10% off (or even 15%) from dicksmith, jbhi fi days than either black friday/edu discounts
