Cracked Nexus 7 - repair?

Hi guys, I dropped my N7 3G on to a tile floor and it was devastating to see the glass had cracked :(

It seems like to repair it myself I have to buy the whole screen part for $70 because the screen is fused to the glass, even though my screen is working fine. Anyone has experience?

Even if I sold it on eBay it seems I would only get $80 for this 3G model I got for $300 6 months ago… :'(

    It costs around $200 to repair it via ASUS. That's $100 in parts and another $100 in labour plus GST.

    Go ebay, some one will probably pay 150. Make sure to end auction after 7.30

    Well I'd say just repair it yourself for $70, that's probably the best way you can get out of it.
