was at kmart chadstone yesterday and they had ads up for xbox one at $579
also saw an ad for ps4 $529.
they had some price stickers prepared for cod ps3 x360 for $69 too but not current.
i imagine eb games will price match xbox one as long as its not midnight launch hour.
doubt they price match ps4 as kmart wont have stock till 2014

worth noting:
eb games no longer have the xbox one deal where u get a free fifa 14 download code so i was informed today.
he may be incorrect as eb games stores are notorious for having different trade in policies etc even when hesad office launches a deal for all stores. or maybe he had just read the new momo or run out of stock allocation.
so if u see a xbox one with fifa 14 still advertised and u want the console then put down a deposit asap or if they have ad up and wont give the deal hasle them for false advertising - if there is no get out clause.
I heard (on a podcast) that the free game was for any console pre-ordered or bought on day one.
I also called EB Games today and was told that the Fifa 14 offer was sold out.
FWIW, I called Target (Chirnside Park) and was told I'd be getting Fifa 14 if I preordered so I did so.
i saw the ad for fifa still up at chaddy store so it may vary from store to store.

Define 'better'. PS4 has faster graphics hardware. A lot of other things are more subjective (controller, online features, Kinect, games, etc.).
Kinect should not be subjective, lets call it a straight out negative.
As much as I'm not interested in Kinect, I can certainly understand there will be people who appreciate it.
I'm just going by the utter fail it was in any game I used it in. The only use I found was for game chat whilst playing with friends when I couldn't be assed using a headset. Everything else was very hit and miss whether it worked at all.
I think I'd appreciate if kinect wasn't an option so that I didn't feel like I was supposed to have the stupid kinect camera under my tv.
Right now I'm contemplating buying an extension cord to install it under the tv in my new house, even though I dont want to use it. How stupid is that?
