    Oral-B Compatible Replacement

    so they are fakes…

      • +9

        parallel import

parallel imports aren't fakes… the only risk is for warranty…

        fakes are usually inferior quality…

  • anyone know that quality of this "Oral-B Compatible" stuff???

  • Soft bristles = may as well use your finger.

    • +1

soft bristles = won't cause your gums to receed

  • +9

these things are not compatible at all!!!
bought 2 packs on the last deal and they are collecting dust!!!

    • +1

Why? If they are sold as compatible and aren't you can get your money back

      • +3

man, i think it would cost me more just to get my money back.

        • It's really not that hard usually, however I have no experience with kogan's returns dept

      • aren't you can??

  • +1

I've found the non genuine ones we have purchased seem to not last as long, but at this price, it's worth giving them a go - so just purchased.

    • So why do you suggest these are non-genuine ?

      • because it says "Oral-B Compatible Replacement" am I missing something redcreek?

        • Sorry. My mistake - can't read :)

    • +1

They break way faster I've found.

With these things it should be a matter of the bristles getting old and worn before the head of the brush breaks. Just avoid these things.

  • "…..offers a gentle brushing experience ideal for sensitive teeth and gums."

Translated: "These brush heads are cheap crap and made with soft low quality bristles; ideal for those who want to replace the head after a weeks use when they inevitably fall apart."

    • +2

Please provide factual accounts of why they don't work or at least try to be funny.

      • +3

I bought some off ebay years ago - they fell apart in my mouth on day as I was brushing my teeth. Not a fun experience.

        • +1

I bought some on ebay and they are fine.
You simply bought from a dodgy seller.

        • That's kinda like saying "I smoked for 30 years and I never got lung cancer"…doesn't mean smoking won't cause cancer!

  • +2

Bought some last time. 3 of the 4 in the first pack broke within 2 weeks, the head would just stop spinning. The last one has been working fine since then. but 1/4 working is pretty bad I guess.
Other than this it works pretty well, bristles are good. Using with PC1000 brush.

    • Exactly the same thing happened to me. The entire pack broke within one day of use (each brush head lasted a night and possibly the next morning)

      Stay away, waste of money.

  • I bought these on an earlier deal.
Of course not genuine! (Chemist warehouse has genuine 3+1 pack for $19.00 they are $29.99 @ Hardly Normal)
Fits well, been using for two weeks now, no problems. You get what you pay for I suppose.
    .
PS: quality aside …No dentist would recommend hard bristles…

  • I bought genuine Oral-B Replacement Toothbrush Heads (4 Pack) from Ebay about $6.50.finally they have sent me 4x4 Pack (16 heads) by mistake.

    • Link pls. Are they genuinely genuine?

        • I've bought from that seller, about 6 months back. Very cheap, 16x for $16 delivered. Definitely not genuine though, although the packaging looks very genuine.
For one thing, you'll notice the blue indicator never fades like the originals. (But the Oral B logo rubbed off pretty quick) Apart from that, the fit isn't quite as good, and the bristles probably don't last as long, but haven't had any major failures from them, so at that price can live with it.

      • I bought some 'genuine' ones off ebay, that turned out to be fakes that had been repacked onto genuine packaging. (could see the old glue line of the plastic on the cardboard, which was not aligned to where the new ones were). However, they were just as good quality as the genuine ones so I wasn't too fussed (and they were pretty cheap). Both of the ones I have tried so far (out of the 4 pack) worked fine until I decided to throw them out, no bristles came loose, etc.

  • Don't waste your money. They break (stops spinning) on me after around two weeks. The bristles are way too soft too. Suggest using index finger to brush instead.

  • Recycled toothbrush heads? Bristles straightened with a hair dryer?

  • this is my first reply, just because of this prodect.
DO NOT BUY THIS, I bought this things before, they all break in first 5 days.

  • Did you want to use the electric toothbrush handle or Oral-B toothbrushes? If the latter, this deal is pointless.

  • +1

Seems to be a lot of expert opinion on here saying don't buy fakes as they fall apart….As always happens when someone posts Oral B heads which aren't they overpriced locally endorsed product.
    I smell a rat.

As for the bristles being too soft, is there such a thing?
A toothbrush is meant to polish your teeth & gums, not scrub them.

    • +1

yeah every dentist I have been to has always said use soft bristles to avoid removing enamel or wearing the gum line down.

  • A metal pin would easily come off behind the brush head after used for few days. You better wait for discounted genuine Oral-B product - last time bought 3+1 for $16.95 from Oze-Pharmacy.

  • Oral B must be making a packet of their ones- they are a flat out ripoff.

  • Or buy large quantities from Amazon, cheaper if you do buy quite a bit like me as my family use oral b toothbrushes.

  • Don't buy compatibles. I bought a pack from an online seller and each head lasted only a few weeks while an authentic head lasts months.

    • Not sure if you're brushing right if it lasts you for months!
