Hi all, im just wondering .. Im currently have my health insurance (extras only) with AHM and i have paid until dec 2013. When browsing online , it came to my attention that Bupa has offered a cheaper deal. So i decided to switchto bupa after december. Myquestion is, if i already use up my benefit i.e for optical of $200 from ahm and then when i switch to bupa, will i have my full benefit to claim with bupa? Or will they just continue what was left from ahm? Does anyone have any experience before? Thanks in advance :)

when u change, the new provide will request u to get a benefit statement printed from your old provider
so they can reduce what you already claims
also some have waiting periods before you can claim!
If you're transferring, as opposed to starting again from scratch, it's unlikely you'll be able to double-dip. You'll only have to wait until January to be able to claim again legitimately anyway.
