Went into the store today, they are refurbing and a whole lot of stuff is on clearance.
Examples:
Selected workwear (selected Hard Yakka, Bisley pants, shorts, shirts) $19
Odds and sods like outdoor setting chairs for $10 each, table for $30 etc.
There was a lot of stuff in store with paper tickets on it.
We have a perfectly good phrase "odds and ends" for that, why adulterate it?
Would you prefer I said "Unspecified items"…sheesh.
All means the same. All well known phrases. Build a bridge.
Drove there this afternoon. No notice of pending refurbishment and no bargains either.

Perhaps you were looking for "unspecified items" or "Odds and Ends" instead of the aforementioned "Odds and Sods"
Clearly went to the wrong store - the place has everything off the shelves, there is a bunch of stuff with paper tickets - large size King Gee workwear for $19 (usually $50) - pretty good price to me, as were the $19 pair of Bisley work pants I am wearing as we speak.
There were bits and pieces\odds and sods\miscellaneous\unspecified items out the front, chairs for outdoor settings for $10 each, boxes of stuff all over the place.
Huh?
