  • will the code work with other phones? or specific to S4 ?

    • Yep. I just bought the black one. I actually created an account to post this and the good news, but I forgot about the 24 hour clause. So glad someone shared this :) I even got a 16GB mini-SD Card as well since it was on sale, turned out to be $550 total (inc. postage)

The code drops the price from 569 to 499.

      • what I meant was, will this work on phones other than the S4?

        • I just tried it for a few phones, doesn't seem to be the case.

  • -4

    $588 Delivered from mobileciti.
    -10% gst from trs
    -2 years samsung australia warranty

I know it is optus branded, but surely this is a better option, rather than getting an imported s4 from SS.

    • That price appears to be $50.00 more expensive than the price listed in this post.

(ps - I did not downvote your comment)

yes it is more expensive, but you can potentially get it cheaper than this deal.
        588-53.45=$534.55

I'd rather pay more than dealing with SS and get local Samsung warranty.

        • Getting a GST refund is probably not practical for the average consumer though…

@Animus, getting AU stock with 2 yrs AU warranty compared with dealing with SS which is next to no warranty at all I think the extra $50 for 2 yrs AU warranty is worth it even you don't intend to get 10% GST refund.

        • +1

I am inclined to agree with you wtfnodeal. My comment was about the fact that for it to be cheaper you would need to deduct GST. The practical impossibility of which - for most consumers - means it's not actually cheaper. If the only point is that Australian stock can be had for a very proximate price, and that this is better for a number of reasons: I wholeheartedly agree and +1.

  • The code also works on the black S4

  • anyone knows about the warranty? australian samsung 2 years warranty or what?
    unlocked unbranded?

was looking into the one from mobilcity but prefer unbranded

      anyone knows about the warranty?

      No SAMSUNG Warranty in Australia.

Send it to SAMSUNG in Hong Kong if you require SAMSUNG Warranty support.

  • Cheap, but they have very bad review ratings. Just 2 stars!!

    • It's got store ratings just above the first comment. Pretty much all stores have low ratings.

      • That can't be trust worthy! As only 9 reviews in total and not many people post comments there. Productreview site is more reliable.

        • It's got the ratings from Productreview.

It will be good if it's $499 delivered
