Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 $15 + $7.95 Courier

50

Hey guys. Was just looking for a mouse and was looking at some really nice MSFT hardware mouse, but stumbled on this on BudgetPC on clearance

Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 (http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-au/p/wireless-mobile-mo…)
Summarised specs
- 1 AA battery
- Proprietary Bluetrack technology supposedly works on many surfaces (including the Surface)
- Wireless (Nano receiver, not bluetooth)

This is going at ~$39 in JB (http://www.jbhifi.com.au/computers/accessories/microsoft/wir…) and about $33 on eBay so thought $23.6 shipped sounds pretty good.

TLDR:
$15 pick up, $23.6 shipped (3% PayPal surcharge)

One of the many reviews available (3.5/5 stars):

  • I use this mouse. Apart from the lack of inputs, it is fantastic. Pricematched with JB then got the July rebate making it $10 which was a ripper

    • yeah kinda wish the july rebate is still on right now

    • Yep, use one as my everyday mouse. Excellent fit. Only issue is that it tends to prefer rechargable AAs as it refuses to work once the alkalines start to lose some voltage despite those batteries still functioning quite well in other gadgets.

Was going to buy 3 more of them for my other computers if postage was 7.95 for all three but alas not the case so gave this a miss.

      Cheers.

That's odd, considering alkalines have a higher intrinsic voltage than rechargeables (1.5V vs 1.2V)

  • BudgetPC, why the price hike?

    • That was like a limited time sale, not their regular price, so not really a price hike.

  • I got mine for $24.00 from BudgetPC 3 months ago including delivery.

  • if only it was wired :(
