Amp rating for mbeat 7 port USB3 powered hub?

I've not long unboxed an mbeat 7 x port powered USB hub, the one with 4 x USB3 and 3 x USB2.0 sockets with each port having its own on/off switch.

The advertising touts the power adapter as having 5V 3A output.

Checking the label on my adapter shows output as only 1.5A rather than 3A. :(

If there's any other OzB'er with this same hub, can you please check the rating on your adapter. Curious if this is a label misprint or dodgy advertising.

    I just checked mine 5V=3A……Where did you buy yours?

    Mine says 3A too.

    Even at 3A it is a little low.
    Each USB port is meant to be able to supply 500mA.
