Hi Everyone,
I'm in the market for a 55"/60" Smart TV (Samsung at this stage) and a Dyson Barrel Vacuum Cleaner. Haven't done much research on these items but just wanted to see, if I am better off buying these items separately or getting them both at the same place in terms of savings, of course I’ll try the price matching too. But want to see what experiences you've had. Maybe wait for boxing day sales?
Oh and suggestions on models, what’s good etc. also welcome!

I'm not sure if JB Hi-Fi carries Dysons, but from personal experience I can say that they do very good deals, especially if you are buying more than one product. Just make it really clear that you will buy the products right away if you think the deal is good enough and they'll generally go out of their way to make the sale. Best of luck.

you generally dont get huge discounts for bulk buying (from my experience)
they do give you much better service though
huge discounts come when they have specials on product
like the recent DSE panasonic plasma deal
I have always found the Good Guys to have the best prices once you tell them what you can find it for elsewhere. They have always beaten the best alternative prices I have seen without question. So I would research online and then show them and they will most likely beat it.

If you are considering Harvey Norman (please don't), they are usually owned by different franchises in the same store so you won't get any bulk discount. Try 'appliances online'. You won't get a bulk discount but their prices are good on certain model items and delivery is quick. They have great reviews. Don't know if they do dyson though.
