It has been removed from OzBargain. Received an email from MYER this morning:
This is not available to general public. It is only available when the original voucher is presented in store, no photocopies or print outs will be processed.
Since original voucher is expected, it's not really a shareable bargain after all.
Good luck to Myer telling all your staff. I mean, if you can find them. Because your customers can't.
Bummer. I was planning to go tomorrow. :(

How would staff know the difference between a photocopy and the real thing? What if Myer staff photocopied the flyer for a friend?
Most times with this sort of high discount, they have it approved by Manager anyway. He'll point out the voucher instantly.
Well that sucks, I might go in tomorrow and try out my luck, just ask someone at checkout before I grab anything. I'll report back if I have some luck.

Hey guys, yeah just got a pair of shoes no questions about the voucher went straight through (I did ask the checkout ladies before I started browsing). I went to the Sydney CBD store.
I agree - If they only give the staff one then they would have to photocopy to give to family and friends I would assume
Looks like a Myer stuff up to me. Nothing about exclusive, nothing about myer one accounts (says card not required), nothing about not passing on or making copies, nothing about originals only and even tells the staff member to give it back to the customer.

Last time a manager was definitely not required and I showed the offer on my phone. It was labelled Myer family and friends discount. I rec last time the $ value of transactions purchased at 50% off blew their minds. Definitely worth trying to still get discount today. Can early birds please post and let us know?
If anyone can confirm this works, I might just drop by lunch time. Darn, here I am all excited. Good thing I searched ozbargain first otherwise I would waste my time trying clothes then finding out that the voucher does not work.

OK went to MYERS this morning and it's all good, the staff knew all about it and said there's no problems. Except the only thing I could find that wanted was a T shirt that was already marked down… :(

Worked for me at Myer Bourke St. The checkout girl kinda smiled out the corner of her mouth and said 'a lot of people have brought these in today', to which I asked if they were not supposed to, but she said it was fine to use. The only problem I had was finding something to buy. Hideous, hideous clothes…went to the homewares section, quality isn't so bad there.
lol the myer brands at 50% discount are not even worth it then, saved you all some money to spend on decent quality ones.
Totally agree. It's all they seem to stock nowdays too. Not really a department store anymore.
I called up myers today, they said they were accepting the voucher. YAY!
Ok, so I went into the city sydney myer store. The "older" ladies in the childrensware section were brilliant, they made a bit of a snark remark about how its downloaded from the "Internet" but still, accepted it quite happily and cheerfully.
The homewares department was a little reluctant. A bit sarcastic about how I'd obtained the voucher. But all in all, transactions went through 50%.

I went to the MISS SHOP section at Brisbane city Myer and they told me the original is needed and they were strictly told this by head office.
But when I went to the homewares section they accepted the voucher and said I can bring other items to be paid there :)
Belconnen ACT store is accepting them. No problems in the menswear (dude behind me was buying a trench coat and had the flyer - although his looked legit on A2) and ladies handbag area (wife wants a new handbag for xmas). The lady in handbags told me she'd already seen 5 of the vouchers that morning - all for Jag handbags
Myer Bourke St- Melbourne was perfectly fine accepting it. Nobody knew about the offer though, but I showed them the PDF on my ipad and they scanned it fine!

Perth Myer city store is actually handing out the vouchers….used my printed one at miss shop ok :)
thanks saved me $200 just left before closing time !
I've just tried looking, cannot find it. May have been a unique code, or Myer may have even asked to get it removed.
